on the A2 approximately 12 miles from Limavady, lies
a magnificent stretch of strand known as Benone Beach.
The jewel in the crown of Limavady's scenery, seven
miles of golden strand stretch from Magilligan Point
to Downhill and is backed by dramatic sand dunes,
containing rich variety of plant life, and majestic
Benevenagh Mountain. Benone Strand's excellent standards
of water quality, beach management, cleanliness and
safety has resulted in its becoming multiple recipient
of the European Blue Flag and Seaside Resort award.
In fact, Benone Strand was the first beach in Northern
Ireland to win the prestigious award.
Adjacent to Benone Strand,
Benone Tourist Complex is an ideal holiday park for
all the family. Established in 1987, recipient of
the Best Touring Caravan Park award, Benone Tourist
Complex has expanded yet again. Now boasting 101 touring
caravan sites, including electric hook-up and 33 super
sites, many with additional space to accommodate awnings,
this family resort provides facilities, scenery and

of residents and day-trippers, are provided for all
age groups, with choices ranging from a 9 hole par
three golf course, putting green, golf practice range,
