Beautifully situated on the Inishowen Peninsula, Culdaff Beach is popular with families and water sports enthusiasts. Bunagee Pier is a centre for sea angling and is used by divers, wind surfers and fishermen alike. The Culdaff area is rich in historical sites from the monastic churches of Cloncha and Carrowmore to the enigmatic stone circle at Bocan and the Megalithic Tombs at Deen and Care.
This charming resort is the birth place of Charles Macklin, the celebrated 18th Century actor, who was born in 1690. He is the subject of the annual Charles Macklin Autumn School held in October in the village.
